Students & Graduates
A lot is expected of young people. Often they are treated like a child, but expected to act like an adult. There is huge pressure to BE rather than BECOME. "BE" implies something that already is, while "BECOME" is a process.
Students and graduates experience an incredible amount of change as they develop. These years are integral and critical in the development process, but often we rush through this phase, pushing past the valuable lessons and opportunities that it presents us.

Having worked with young people for more than a decade, I have mentored countless students during significant times of transition, offering added support to parents, providing guidance during some of the toughest times, and developing deep relationships that remain strong into the adult years. Through these special connections, I have had the opportunity to share in some of the hardest situations and some of the greatest celebrations, as well as act as a strong example and leader to young people. One of my most cherished gifts is connecting with high school, college, and post graduate students. Again, with me, you will be seen and heard, but also be held accountable.
I have been honored to...
» Start two youth ministry programs and act as a volunteer in another for a total of 10+ years of service.
» Lead students in mission and service events locally and abroad including facilitating spring break mission trips around the US, participating in Hurricane Katrina relief, and leading a team of students to Kenya.
» Partner with other youth leaders to develop student specific programs and events.
